Yukta Karkera
Product Designer
About
I’m Yukta Karkera, a passionate product designer who loves blending creativity and strategy to create meaningful, user-focused products. I’ve had hands-on experience in medical device design at Zeda Health and worked on exciting projects like developing IoT solutions with Toyota Mobility Foundation and redesigning apps to boost user engagement.
My work is all about diving deep into research and user insights to shape products that truly make a difference. I’m also proud to be the co-founder of Bano Kaabil, a non-profit supporting underprivileged women artisans in India, where I’ve been able to apply my design and strategy skills to drive social impact. I earned my M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction from Indiana University and a BTech in Computer Science Engineering from Mahindra École Centrale, which has given me a strong foundation in both technical and human-centered design.
